Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the new office building of the General Department of Customs and Excise, Prime Minister

Hun Sen said the COVID-19 pandemic has so far killed more than 3,000 people, but with the daily cases dropping nearly to zero, the big challenge now is the economy recovery.

He has stated that if the national economy fails, it can affect the whole 16 million Cambodian citizens.

The Prime Minister continued that more than 3 million people have already accessed the third doses of COVID-19 vaccine, while the fourth doses will be reserved for some 500,000 frontlines.

According to Prime Minister Hun Sen, the fourth doses for the frontline officials will be Pfizer vaccines, donated by Australia.
